Mike

Mike is the founder, owner, and team lead of Villa Visuals. Since earning a degree in visual journalism, being behind the camera has taken him to nearly 75 countries, coast-to-coast across the US, capturing over 300 weddings and hundreds more social and commercial events.

As a visual journalist, Mike has spent nearly two decades filming and photographing nearly every type of narrative including weddings, corporate and social events, travel documentaries, automotive press, brand stories, film BTS, and everything in between.

Throughout his time photographing and filming, Mike has prioritized story and emotion. His approach to capturing intimate moments at a beachside wedding in Cancun and documenting the judicial system crisis in Malawi is the same. The goal is to tell the story through visuals that don’t just show what those moments looked like; they show what they felt like.

BEN

Ben is a Cinematographer and Event Videographer with 18 years of experience in the industry capturing motion and crafting light on commercials, narrative films, live events and documentary endeavors. On set, Ben is empowered behind the camera and lighting departments, ensuring the visuals are beautifully and effectively molding the story and content.

Ben grew up in Connecticut and moved to Los Angeles to study film at Biola University. Many of his commercial and documentary work has been produced internationally, as he has traveled and filmed in over 30 countries. Notable clients Ben has filmed for are Amazon, Google, Disney, NFL Network, BBC, Netflix, Verizon, and Hyperice.

DEVON

Devon is a seasoned creative professional with a decade of experience in luxury hospitality and a passion for storytelling through cinematography and video editing. Formerly a Food & Beverage Manager at the Four Seasons, Devon honed an unparalleled attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in high-end environments.

Driven by a love for visual storytelling, Devon transitioned into film and editing, capturing stories all over the world. His work has been featured in People Magazine and other notable publications, and he has collaborated with top-tier clients including Google, Amazon, Hallmark, Nickelodeon, and Paramount, to name a few. A musician at heart, Devon brings a unique creative perspective to every project, blending technical skill with artistic vision.
